"When Jesus saw the crowds He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:36-37
Let us be among those who will work the harvest field of the Lord, sent by Him to take care of the "helpless” children that will be coming to camp. Jesus desires that the children will claim Him as their Shepherd, learning that they are known by name and that His love for them abounds. Jesus knows each of us in that same way and wants the best for us. It is a truism that when we do Christ’s work, we experience all that He has for us, His very best.
Let us pray to be in the center of His will, with the awesome task of showing the children the Shepherd’s love. We can share that joy with our friends, inviting them to serve with us at camp.
By doing so, we will be getting the word out to friends to consider financially supporting the attendance of a child at camp. As always, our friends’ prayer support is essential to the success of the camp.
Thank you for the prayer requests you have emailed and please continue to share your prayer needs with us.
